Some reunions are sweet. This one? Straight-up cinematic. Dan hadn’t seen Ashley since second grade, yep, juice boxes and spelling bees. But in 2024, the universe decided to stir some shit up. Ashley’s husband Max had booked a random knife sharpening appointment in Mission Viejo. Couldn’t make it, so he sent Ashley in his place. She shows up at this guy Ike’s house, they start talking, and boom, his last name is Bushkin. Ashley’s like, “Wait. Do you have a son named Dan?” He does. Of course he does. So, what do you do when fate throws that kind of curveball? You pack up, head to Vegas to celebrate your 13th wedding anniversary, and call up your long-lost childhood friend to document it all. Chaos? Check. Come read about their badass las vegas anniversary photoshoot!

Thirteen Years In, Still Hotter Than the Strip
We met up in Downtown Fremont, where every wall hits like a tequila shot and every alley holds a story. Ashley showed up in a black sequin mini and stilettos, looking like she was about to headline a disco rodeo. Max matched her in a fire-engine-red suit, cowboy hat, and bolo tie, full outlaw glam energy. Together? Unstoppable. Their dog Moose (rescue-turned-Vegas-legend) strutted into frame in a homemade Elvis jumpsuit, crafted by Ashley! It was the kind of detail that made the whole session feel like a fever dream in the best way.

Flirting Like It’s the First Date (Again)
Fremont’s side streets gave us exactly what we needed: color, texture, edge. Ashley and Max didn’t show up to play, they came to light this place up. Their energy was electric. Flirty. Raw. A little unhinged in that “we’ve loved each other for 13 years and we still make out like teenagers” kind of way. They didn’t need directions or poses. They just were. Laughing, tugging at each other, walking hand-in-hand like they were the only two people who’d ever fallen in love. Moose followed like he owned the block, tail wagging, ears perked, serving main character energy from start to finish

Rockstars in the Wild (and Still in Love)
When the lights flipped on, the vibes got even louder. Fremont at night is all neon and nostalgia, and these two took it and ran. They changed into red and black leather jackets, combat boots, and looked like they were on their way to headline a rock show. From casino marquees to glowing liquor signs, every backdrop turned into a stage. They kissed in alleyways, leaned on lamp posts like they were shooting a vintage album cover, and held each other like they meant it. Because they do. This wasn’t performance. This was presence. Unapologetic and unfiltered.

Straight from Max After Their Las Vegas Anniversary Photoshoot: The Real Sh*t
My wife and I had an absolute blast during our photo shoot with Dan and Bri. Admittedly, I started off feeling a little self-conscious at the prospect of spending a couple of hours in front of a professional photographer. However, Dan and Bri made me feel immediately comfortable, and my wife and I were eager to “Strike a Pose” in no time. They knew all the best spots to snap great photos. This is especially true of super busy places. They knew how to time it just right in between the crowds so that we got one-of-a-kind photos at all the landmarks, photos that look and feel intimate but that were taken during peak tourist times. All the while, we were laughing, joking, and having the best time. Both the content and the quality/fidelity of the images are stunning! We are so happy with the photos they took that it’s been hard to choose which favorites to share with our friends and family. They created the perfect Las Vegas photo album for us. As the years go on, we will always look back at these photos with big thrills and bigger smiles.
Thanks again! -Max
